Come and relax in the heart of nature at our family-run establishment, a paradise for young and old alike, where calm and conviviality reign. A campsite on a human scale, where we’ve been welcoming you from generation to generation since 1960!
From April to October, you’ll benefit from a wide range of high-quality services andfacilities. For three generations, our motto has remained unchanged:

At the campsite near Cap Ferret, from April to September, dive into our 28° heated pool and enjoy swimming all day long!
Far from being forgotten, from mid-June to the end of August, your children can enjoy a playful paddling pool animated by familiar characters and their water jets.

Our family campsite offers a variety of accommodation to suit all tastes, from 2 to 6 people and 1 to 3 bedrooms. You’ll find comfortable cottages, spacious apartments, cosy chalets, an unusual cabin for an out-of-the-ordinary stay, or a converted van for adventure on the roads of the Basin. A cottage specially designed for people with reduced mobility is also available.
Here, relaxation and serenity are our priorities. Two-thirds of our pitches are in pedestrian zones, guaranteeing children’s safety and parents’ peace of mind.
Leave your car at rest and enjoy a quiet, natural environment, where even squirrels are happy!

At Camping Les Écureuils, everything is designed to ensure you have a great time.
A range of services designed to make your vacations as tasty and simple as possible!
Out of season, our refreshment bar is open in the afternoon, offering ice creams, crêpes and refreshing drinks. An ideal break to enjoy the calm of the Bassin d’Arcachon while indulging yourself.
During the summer months (July and August), our small snack bar takes over! It offers drinks, craft beers, ice creams and a snack menu to enjoy on the premises or to take away. Make yourself comfortable in your accommodation or enjoy the ambience of our cosy terrace.
And to get the day off to a good start in summer, a bread and pastry drop-off service is also available. Simply order the day before from the bar and enjoy a fresh breakfast in the morning!

Vacations in Arcachon
Les Écureuils campsite is ideally located in Arès, near Cap Ferret, the oyster-farming villages of the Arcachon Basin and the region’s must-see tourist attractions.
Take advantage of the bike paths and harbors to explore the surrounding area on foot, by bike or by boat. Let yourself be seduced by the unique charm of the Bay of Arcachon and its treasures at every turn!
Climb the Dune du Pilat for a 360° view of the surrounding area and walk along France’s longest jetty at Andernos-les-Bains. Finally, plan a day of sightseeing or shopping in Bordeaux, with its Cité du Vin, old town and guided cruise on the Garonne. Perfect for a memorable vacation for two or the whole family!

Is it possible to arrive outside reception opening hours?
Yes, just let us know and we’ll e-mail you the late arrival procedure.
Are sheets and towels included?
No, but we do offer them for rent. Only our accommodation “LA CABANE” is a hotel room with bed linen included.
Is wifi free and available throughout the estate?
Yes, wifi is free throughout the campsite.
Are bicycles available for hire on the campsite?
Yes, we offer mountain bikes and children’s bikes/baby seats/carts. We also have a partnership with an external service provider for electric bikes.
Is the aquatic area open in low season?
The large indoor heated swimming pool is open from April (Easter vacations) to the end of October (All Saints’ Day vacations), and the paddling pool from mid-June to mid-September.
